The Beach

 Saryn didn't quite know what to think of  her first real beach experience. She enjoyed the sand but was not a big fan of the water.

Raven jumped right in like an old pro.

 

We ate at a place called Boondocks for dinner, and they weren't kidding, it was out of the way to get to, but the food was wonderful.

 

Hotel or as Raven called it, Beach house, tv time.

 

Raven was so tired after our first day she slept in later than anyone else. Rolling over and going back to sleep any time she was disturbed.

Renaissance Festival

We had a good time at the Renfest this year. Sarah and Megan and her two youngins came with us this year.

Saryn was a good girl in her backpack carrier.

Mikel has never had a Turkey leg at the Renfest so it was about time he ate one, Sarah and Megan got one too.

 

Raven went with the shrimp and chips but ate some of Grandma's Turkey leg too.

 

We let Raven get her face painted every year and we always get the same lady to do it, she's fantastic!

 

Raven was not scared to feed the goats this year at the petting farm.

 

This is the first year Raven has ridden a ride, I thought she'd be afraid but she loved it.

It was chilly and rained briefly but it was a wonderful day. It's usually sweltering.
