Halloween

We didn't take Raven trick-or-treating this year, but we did take her to the church trunk-or-treat. Raven was a chicken, Mikel a farmer and I was a road (I-985/I-85 merger to be precise). There were some really good costumers there but I only got pictures of a couple of them.

We went to just a couple of trunks, because we'd be the ones eating most of the candy. It was a fun night.

Wordless Wednesday

AWA

We had fun this year at AWA, back in September. Raven came with us and we stayed Friday night at a hotel. Raven was wary of the hotel at first, but after a while she enjoyed crawling all over the place looking at all the new stuff to mess with.

We ate at Big Chow Grill. It's basically a all you can eat buffet stir fry place. You pick your noodles or rice, veggies, raw meat and sauce and give it to the chef, they stir fry it up and bring it to your table. It was good stuff.

For a while Raven just crawled back and forth from room to room in the hotel.

Mikel carried Raven around on his back most of the time. We tried the stroller, but it was a pain to get around in the crowds. We weren't able to do as much with Raven there, like watch videos and such, but we loved having her with us!

On Saturday we took Raven to mom and pops and they watched her so we could do a Death Note murder mystery that night and see The Suzan in concert. And hey, we ran into ol' Zach. I'm glad he came, it wouldn't have been the same if we didn't get to hang out with him at AWA!

The Funimation booth was giving out free Super Sayan hair from Dragon Ball Z in honor of the show coming out on bluray. Lots of people were wearing the hair around, so Zach and I decided to get some.

Raven's 1 Year Old

Raven had a great birthday! We had a lot of family in attendance and she got some great presents!

Raven didn't eat much of her cake, but she enjoyed squishing it up with her hand.

Thanks to everyone who came!

The Beach

Started our trip with a wonderful Cracker Barrel breakfast!

A morning family walk on the beach. Raven forces us to wake up at 6 anyway so we thought we might as well enjoy the scenery and look for sea shells.

Raven wasn't a big fan of the ocean, but we dug a shallow hole and kept filling it up with water. She loved splashing around in it and climbing into the hole.

I tried to make a sand cube, but this was as cubey as I could get it.

Mikel dug a hole and stuck Raven in it.

Can you find the ghost crab?

We had lots of fun! Thanks mom and dad!
