We had a great Summer, and even though I'm going to miss seeing Saryn's chunky thighs, I'm excited for Fall!

Saryn's Born!

 My precious little Sar-Bear was born! I've done one post since then, but realized I never did an official birth post and pretty much nothing else either.

Thanks to my awesome Mom for watching Raven for me, it was nice knowing she was in good hands.

This button was my friend during the hard times, ah, sweet, extra meds...

 

See, I feel so good after the touch of a button, I can even pose for pictures!

 

Thanks to some my very awesome doctor, Dr. Cox and a great nurse, my VBAC went off without a hitch!

 

I love my awesome sisters. They were a great support to me before and after Saryn was born. I can always trust Ali to ask the questions that I don't want to and Amy was there when it counted, with food! I'm so thankful that I have so many good mothers that I can look up too!

 

Raven was not to fond of the new baby at first, but she adores her now! It broke my heart when Raven thought that me and Mikel lived at the hospital with the baby now and Raven lived with Mimi. It took several days after we got home before Raven would give me a hug.

 

I wasn't as diligent at getting photos of visitors as I was when Raven was born. If you have a pic of you and Saryn at the hospital, email it to me please!

 

Besides wanting to be with Raven, I loved my stay at the hospital!

Mini Vacation

A few weeks ago we went on a bit of a mini vacation. On Saturday we went to the Renaissance Festival and then spent the night at an Embassy Suites.

Raven got her face painted again. She was very still and asked for a kitty moon.

Mikel tried to be a strong man again. He rang the bell on his first try!

Raven got some fairy wings and was so cute hopping around everywhere saying, "I'm flying!"

Trying to watch some jousting, but it ended right when we got there.

Raven loved seeing the animals at the petting zoo, but refused to touch them this year.

They only had an outdoor pool, but luckily it was a semi-warm day, but the water was still cold Mikel said.

We had a great time and breakfast was of course delicious, though I didn't get a picture.
