Renaissance Festival

We had a good time at the Renfest this year. Sarah and Megan and her two youngins came with us this year.

Saryn was a good girl in her backpack carrier.

Raven's first year doing the Maypole dance with the Faeries.

Clapping along as they sang a song.

Joust!

Mikel has never had a Turkey leg at the Renfest so it was about time he ate one, Sarah and Megan got one too.

Raven went with the shrimp and chips but ate some of Grandma's Turkey leg too.

We let Raven get her face painted every year and we always get the same lady to do it, she's fantastic!

Raven was not scared to feed the goats this year at the petting farm.

This is the first year Raven has ridden a ride, I thought she'd be afraid but she loved it.

 Funnel cake dessert.

Mikel likes to prove he's still a strong man.

He is!

He won a pass to throw axes.

It was chilly and rained briefly but it was a wonderful day. It's usually sweltering.

Raven's Birthday Party

Playing with the cousins at the park.

Mikel said he could climb to the top of the swing, and he did!

It was a joint birthday for Halle, Lera, Raven and Sammy.

Lots of nice presents! Thanks to everyone!

Sweet sleepy head.

Halloween Day

Our Plants vs Zombies, Zombie pumpkin.

Our little C3PO, showing off the head band I made her. It was so cold on the trunk or treat that I made something to go around her ears. It was, of course, warm on Halloween day.

Ali let us trick or treat in their neighborhood since ours is not very trick or treat friendly. Here's the girls ready to get some candy!

Pumpkin ready to go!

Holding hands didn't last long as Chess decided to run ahead and poor Lera got left behind in her restrictive mermaid skirt.

Lera holding her best buddy Saryn's hand.

Wordless Wednesday

Trunk or Treat

Church trunk or treat night. I dusted Raven's whole face with gold eye shadow and used gold sparkle gel to slick back her hair.

Aunty and Uncle looking cool.

Two Face!

Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb, super cute, which one is which...?

My two precious droids.

Givin' out sugar!

Getting her faced painted. She loves to have her face painted, she gets real still.

Bailey from Pixie Hollow, can't remember which one...

Some people go all out with their decorations.

Raven wasn't scared though, she marched right through. Anything for candy!

Our bishop and his wife were the Big Bad Wolf and Little Red Riding Hood, it was super cute. They handed out candy from a big empty story book. Raven loves the Big Bad Wolf from the 3 Little Pigs, so we had to get her picture with him.

We had lots of good food and Raven got a lots of candy, fun times!
